Believing that skincare could do more, Dr. Lancer set out to develop his own line of products and in 1985 The Lancer Method was born. Since then, Dr. Lancer has successfully brought to life his philosophy of “From Practice To Product”, developing a full range of award winning, at-home products that each individually simulate services provided to clients at the Lancer Dermatology Clinic in Beverly Hills.
The Lancer Method: Polish, Cleanse and Nourish is the heart of Dr. Lancer’s skincare assortment and the first regimen he recommends to all new patients. This simple, 3-Step routine of exfoliating, cleansing and moisturizing works by influencing the skin’s natural regenerative cycle, which gradually slows down as one ages. Meet Dr. Lancer
With 40 years as a dermatologist in Beverly Hills, Dr. Lancer has gained a following among Hollywood’s elite. From Oprah, Kim Kardashian, Jennifer Lopez, Margot Robbie and Christina Ricci to members of the royal family – Dr Lancer has helped thousands to obtain the famous Lancer Glow with his trademark Method regimen.
At the age of 7, Dr. Lancer accidentally fell into a vat of near boiling water, burning over 10% of his body. While the experience was unfortunate and painful, it was to be remembered as an event that changed his life forever. Throughout his recovery, Dr. Lancer became fascinated with the skin’s healing and regeneration process, spending countless hours creating his own kid-friendly “treatments” and testing them on his siblings. The experience not only led him to a career in dermatology, but also greatly influenced his belief in restoration as opposed to alteration as the most effective way to obtain healthy, radiant skin.
Meet Blair Lancer
Born and raised in Los Angeles, Blair Lancer has always been connected to the world of skincare. Throughout her life, she’s watched her father, Dr. Lancer, revolutionize the industry with his cutting-edge techniques and passion for innovation.
This shaped Blair’s own path, leading her to New York City in 2011 to study fashion business at NYU’s Gallatin School. Blair returned to Los Angeles in 2016 to join the family business, working closely with her father. She began her career in social media and communications, gradually expanding her role to product development before moving back to New York to earn her MBA from Columbia Business School in 2019.
Now, as Chief Marketing Officer, Blair leads the vision and growth of Lancer Skincare, overseeing Marketing, Social Media, Product Development, and Communications to ensure the brand’s continued success.
